Gas price PREDICTIONS
THIS IS HOW YOU MAKE A PREDICTION
AND HOW THE PRIZE MONEY IS PAID OUT TO MEMBERS
1. Members make their predictions each week
Predictions are submitted by members before 11:59 PM every Wednesday.
2. Members predict the price of gasoline
GasOdds offers three types of US Gas Price predictions. All new members have to start with one of these Gas Predictions, with their first entry and afterwards they are free to enter any of the other US Gas predictions or any of the other predictions for which they hold credits. [SEE BONUS CREDITS, lower down]
G1 – Price Prediction
Members estimate the average price of a gallon of gasoline for the coming Saturday in the U.S. state of their choice.
Predictions must be entered to three decimal places
(for example: $3.457).
G2 – Price Change Prediction
Members estimate the increase or decrease in the gallon price that will occur by Saturday.
G3 – Beat the Average Prediction
Members predict the gasoline price, but the goal is to beat the average prediction made by other members.
3. The official results are recorded on Saturday
At 11:59 PM on Saturday, the official average gasoline price for each state is recorded using the AAA Gas Prices Index.
This becomes the final reference price used to determine the results.
4. The closest predictions win
All predictions are compared with the official recorded price.
The smaller the difference between a prediction and the final price, the higher the payout level.
5. Exact predictions share 63% of the Prize Pool
Members who predict the exact price to three decimal places share 63% of the total prize pool.
The amount each winner receives depends on:
• how many members entered predictions
• how many members predicted the exact price
6. Second Payout - 21% of the Prize Pool
Criteria for Payout: Members who predict the difference correctly to the nearest penny (one cent) to two decimal places, qualify for this payout.
7. Third Payout - 7% of the Prize Pool
Criteria for Payout: Members who correctly predict the difference to the nearest dime (10 cents) to one decimal place, qualify for this payout.
8 Fourth Payout - 2% of the Prize Pool
CONSOLATION PAYOUT - PAID TO ALL PARTICIPATING MEMBERS WHO DON'T WIN ONE OF THE OTHER PAYOUTS AND YET ARE CLOSE TO THE ACCURATE RESULTS
You can win every week
Every member who submits a valid prediction in good faith shares in the weekly payouts.
Members whose predictions come close but do not qualify for the three main payout levels receive a consolation payout, amounting to 2% of the total receipts, which is shared among those members.
Entries that attempt to circumvent or manipulate the system are not eligible for payouts.

BONUS PREDICTION CREDITS
From time to time GasOdds may award members Bonus Prediction Credits.
These credits allow members to enter additional predictions without paying an additional entry fee.
Bonus credits are intended as a way to reward participation, encourage accurate predictions, and occasionally promote special events or offers within the GasOdds community.
Bonus credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred between members, nor refunded.
HOW BONUS CREDITS WORK
Bonus credits function in the same way as normal prediction credits issued with your membership.
They allow you to submit additional predictions for any available prediction game on the site.
Bonus credits may be awarded for a variety of reasons including:
• exceptional prediction accuracy
• participation in special prediction challenges
• promotional offers or events
• referring new members
• random bonus draws among participating members
GasOdds may award bonus credits at its discretion.
MEMBERSHIP RULES FOR USING CREDITS
Bonus credits follow the same usage rules as the member’s subscription level.
Value Mix and Eco Drive Memberships
Credits issued under these memberships must be used during the same week in which they are issued.
Unused credits expire at the end of that weekly prediction period.
High Octane and Gas Guzzler Memberships
Credits issued under these memberships may be used in the current week or carried forward to future weeks.
This allows members to accumulate credits and use them when they choose.
WAYS MEMBERS MAY EARN BONUS CREDITS
GasOdds may award additional prediction credits in a number of ways.
Exact Prediction Bonus - EP Bonus
Members who correctly predict the exact result may occasionally receive bonus credits in addition to their prize payout.
High Accuracy Predictions - HA Bonus
Predictions that are very close to the final recorded result may qualify for bonus credits when special promotions are active.
Referral Rewards - RR Bonus (10 per new member)
Members who introduce new participants to GasOdds receive bonus prediction credits once the new member successfully joins the platform.
To qualify:
Send us the name and email of the new participant via the Contact Form before they join.
Referral credits are awarded only after the new member:

verifies their email address, and
-
purchases their first credit bundle.
GasOdds reserves the right to decline referral rewards for duplicate, self-created, or suspicious accounts.
Weekly Random Bonus - WR Bonus
From time to time, GasOdds may award bonus prediction credits through a random draw among participating members.
This ensures that every participant has a chance to receive additional credits.
Special Prediction Events - SP Bonus
Occasionally GasOdds may run special prediction challenges where additional credits are awarded for selected events or outcomes.
These promotions will be announced on the site when available.
IMPORTANT CONDITIONS
Bonus credits:
• have no cash value
• cannot be exchanged for money
• cannot be transferred to another member
• must be used in accordance with the rules of the member’s subscription level.
For Value Mix and Eco Drive memberships, bonus credits must be used within the week in which they are issued.
For High Octane and Gas Guzzler memberships, bonus credits may be used in the current week or carried forward to future weeks but expire after 91 days (7 weeks) if unused.
GasOdds reserves the right to modify, award, or withdraw bonus credit promotions at any time.
Any attempt to manipulate or circumvent the prediction system may result in the removal of credits or suspension of the account.
A FINAL NOTE
Bonus prediction credits are intended to make participation on GasOdds more rewarding and more enjoyable.
Members who take part regularly and submit thoughtful predictions will often find additional opportunities to earn and use these credits throughout the year.
GasOdds reserves the right to void predictions that appear intended to cover multiple outcomes of the same event.
GasOdds reserves the right to amend, limit, or cancel bonus credits at any time where necessary to protect the integrity of the prediction system.
