G2 GAS PRICE INCREASE OR DECREASE PREDICTION

This is a free prediction for confirmed members.

Predict the average INCREASE or DECREASE, from the price for last week, in price of a gallon of gas in the U.S. state of your choice for next Saturday at midnight. When submitting your prediction, you must select the fuel grade: Regular, Mid-Grade, Premium, or Diesel.

Your prediction is for an increase OR a decrease in the average price. Both count. If you indicate an increase of $0.200 but the actual result is a decrease of $0.200, you still win your prize share.

All predictions must be submitted by midnight on the Wednesday prior to the prediction date. ONLY ONE PREDICTION PER EVENT IS PERMITTED PER WEEK. By using this service, you agree to the Terms.

PRIZE LEVELS

Level 1 – Exact or Near Match
Prediction is exact or is closer to the official price than any prediction that qualifies for Level 2. Winners share 63%.
 

Level 2 – Very Close
Prediction matches to two decimal places. Winners share 21% of the prize pool.
 

Level 3 – Close
Prediction is within ten cents ($0.10) of the official price. Winners share 7% of the prize pool.
 

Level 4 – Consolation
Participants share 2% of the prize pool.

MINIMUM PRIZE

Each valid G2 prediction guarantees a minimum shared consolation payout of 2%.
